where did The Black Death come from?

China was the first contrary that was affected by the bubonic plague it then spread to Italy and then thought out other European countries such as Denmark and Spain. In the 1899 Hawaii was also hit by the bubonic plague causing it to be brought into the united states, Australia suffered 12 major plague out breaks in the 1900 to 1925 it was spread because of the shipping between china and Australia. The bubonic plague occurred in Africa the southern hemisphere, Asia and South America but most human cases since 1990s have occurred all over Africa

Why did The Black Death spread?

The reason the bubonic plague spread was because of trading between countries. When spring arrived in china the Italian merchants arrived on their ships unknowingly carrying the bubonic plague via rats back to Italy. Once on land the rats would look for a new home. At that time there was low personal hygiene and very little treatment. The unsanitary living conditions was exactly what the rats where looking for. There were many more Cases of the bubonic plague in small towns than large city’s this is because in small towns there were lower living standards
